sew sew sew

It's been a while since I had a chance to sew, but the boys got sick last week.  I used the time when they were down to whip up a little baby shower gift for a friend.  It came together quickly because
1) I have made quite a few pillowcase dresses from this great tutorial at Prudent Baby.
2) I got the idea for the ruffled pants from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar.
3) I already had coordinating fabric from an earlier sewing project.

I also got around to finally making myself a new purse.  I bought this fabric and the pattern in the fall, but never had time to make it.  This took a majority of my Saturday, but it was worth it.
