Brazil post 1

Life is so busy here and sometimes there's no internet.  But life is rich.  The guys at this school work really hard to teach, train, and take care of their students in all areas of life.

Here are a few pictures from our first week here.  Thanks for praying.  Love ya, Holly

A cashew tree grows right behind our apartment.

We thought this was a dangerous centipede at first, turns out that it is just a seed.

This is day one in Manaus in the truck in town

These are all out of chronological order and that drives me a little bit crazy, but I don't have time or energy to try and fix this...so enjoy anyway.

  1. You might not even get this...but it's great to see you guys in this context - in Brazil. Right next door, so to speak, to us! I know you guys are having a great time, but are tired to. You are going to need some serious recovery time when you get home! Looks like you guys are more in the campo than in the city. Blessings to you all!

  4. Not allergic to cashews...,'but you don't eat the cashews because they are poisonous unless they are roasted...oh and that centipede was a seed. But we have seen millipedes and a centipede (a real one) and a million ants and a bazillion termites and an iguana. I think that is all. Oh no, I can't believe I almost forgot the giant cockroaches.
