pillowcase dress

Here's a photo of the pillowcase dress I made.  I have never really liked the look of the ribbon ties, so I made a tie out of a coordinating fabric.  Also, to make it easier, I decided to make one long tie and tie the dress on one shoulder instead of both.  I like the look of this and the one bow doesn't get in the way too much.  Then for fun (?) I decided to attempt to make a ruffle out of the same coordinating fabric and attach it to the bottom.  I like how it turned out.  It's not perfect, but that's ok with me.  Now I want to try and make another one but I want to make the body shorter and add a much longer ruffle.  I think I will make the body narrower too.  I hope it turns out!
